More team records fall at end of season meets!
Jakob Icimsoy (12), Luke Huffstutler (17) and Ross Garrett (16) broke team records at their last meet of the short course season.
Jakob swimming at the Auburn Region meet came home with new team records in 4 events (400 IM, 50 free, 100 fly and 1650 free). Another record is pending in the 1000 free as Jakob narrowly missed breaking the SE record by .4 of a second, taking the mile out in 10.18 +.
Ross Garrett, also swimming at the Auburn meet broke the team record in the 100 fly.
Luke Huffstutler broke 3 team records at the Senior Sectional meet: 50, 100 free and 200 IM.
The senior girls 800 free relay broke the team record (Maddie Kamman, Katelyn Duke, Molly Steele, Rachel Cunningham) and finished in 10th place. The same girls also scored in the 400 free relay with a 16th place finish.
The following scored in individual events at Senior Sectionals:
Maddie Kamman- 10th- 100 free
Molly Steele- 13th - 1650 free
Rachel Cunningham- 14th - 100 breast.

HBT swimmers swam their first full long course meet of the season and came out with positive results! Erica Han (10), Ross Tolbert (10) and EJ Moses (12) swam their way to High Point trophies! Drake Amick (12), Caitlin Bullard (14), Jakob Icimsoy (13), Mary Ellen Newton (17) and Sam Steele (15) were High Point Runner ups!
Nine swimmers recorded new SE Championship standards: Caitlin Bullard (14)- 200 free; Abigail Spates (10)- made 11-12 cuts in the 50 free, 50, 100 breast; Micah Fineburg (12)- 100 fly, 400 free; Erica Han (10)- 100 breast, 400 free; Macy Steele (10)- 400 free; Molly Steele (13)- 800 free; Sam Steele (15)- 200 back, 800 free; Jakob Icimsoy- 200, 1500 free, 400 IM and Ariana Zamani- (10)- 50 free, 50 fly.
EJ Moses broke team records in the 100 and 200 free! Congrats EJ!
In addition the following swimmers established new MEET RECORDS: Erica Han (10)- 50,100,200, 400 free; Macy Steele (10)- 100 back Ross Tolbert (10)-50 fly, 100 free;Abigail Spates (10)- 50, 100 breast;Drake Amick (12)- 200 IM; Caitlin Bullard (14)- 1500 free; Erica Han (10)- 400 free; Jakob Icimsoy (13)- 400, 800, 1500 free; EJ Moses (12)- 50, 100, 200 free; Molly Steele (13)- 800 free; Luke Huffstuttler (17)- 200 IM and Sam Steele (15)- 100 bk,800 free.

HBT finishes 9th at SE Champs
-11-12 Boys win age group
-15 new individual event team records
-3 relay team records
-9 new senior sectional cuts
-4 NCSA Junior Cuts
The HBT 11-12 boys (Jakob Icimsoy, Micah Fineburg, Drake Amick, EJ Moses) led the team to a 9th place finish by winning their age group quite handily. The boys won both of their relays and Jakob won two individual events (500, 1000 free). The 1000 was a new team record and put him in 7th place in the current national rankings. Jakob finaled in all 7 of his events and established team records in the 100 fly, 200 free and 200 IM. Fellow 12 year old EJ Moses scored in 4 events, while Drake Amick scored a 3rd place finish in the 50 free.
Molly Steele (13) had a fabulous meet by scoring in 4 events and coming home with 4 senior sectional cuts (200 500, 1000, 1650 free). Her times in the 500, 1000 and 1650 established new team records!
Brother Sam Steele (15) scored in 4 events, breaking team records in the 200, 500 free and 200 fly. Those events also qualified Sam for the NCSA Junior National meet.
Luke Huffstutler (16) broke 3 team records with great swims in the 50 free, 100 breast and 400 IM. All were new senor sectional cuts.
Rachel Cunningham (14) won both the 100 and 200 breaststroke events. Her 100 time was a new team record and NCSA qualifying time.
Nami Odashima placed 2nd in the 50 breast and 3rd in the 100 breast, both new team records!
Erin Finn came home with 2 new senior sectional cuts!
Other individuals that scored included: Caitlin Bullard (14); Katelyn Duke (18); Erica Han (10)- 4 Top 8 swims; Maddie Kamman (17); Mary Ellen Newton (16) and Abigail Spates (10).
The senior boys 400 free and medley relays (Sam Steele, Luke Huffstutler , Ross Garret, Brooks Garret) established new team records.
