Congrats to the following swimmers for selection to the 2009-10 short course SES All Star Team. This team is for 14-under swimmers that qualify by making certain criteria set up by SE Swimming.

District Meet- 17 New SE cuts
Congrats to all those swam at the District meet in Tuscaloosa. We came home with 17 new SE Championships cuts!
We had 4 swimmers achievce their very first SE cuts- Lauren Crabtree (age 9); Rachel Lebo (age 10); Razvan Griffin (age 10) and Sean McComb (age 14). Good job guys!!
With the above new qualifiers, HBT now has 32 swimmers qualified for SE Champs!
James Prestel (12) swam to 4 new cuts capping an impressive first winter of swimming! Ross Garret (13) and Abby Williamson (9) swam to 2 more cuts each!
Others with great meets were: Sydney Biswal (9) with 8-8 PB's; John Dempsey (8)- 8-8 PB's; Erin Finn (13)-7-7 PB's; Taylor Giourard (7)- 7-8 PB's and Alex Tyson (11)- 7-8 PB's. |

Kreable Young (17) finished her winter season in fine fashion with 3 outstanding swims. She finished 13th in the 1000 free by dropping 11 seconds from her SE Champs time (which was a drop of 10 seconds) finishing in 10.16!! Her 500 free was 5.00.3- good for 6th place. Both swims were new team records as well! Kreable had a great 400 IM dropping to a 4:29.7 while winning her heat in finals. Dru Selden (17) swam to 2 best times in the 500 free and 1650 (dropping 16 from her previous best time). |

HBT Wins Medium Title at SE Champs |

HBT won the meduim size team title (15-29 entered swimmers) last weekend at the SE Championships in Nashville. We won in a very close battle with CTA and Auburn. HBT finished 9th overall out of 69 LSC teams.
Of the 25 HBT swimmers that swam; 18 scored team points!
The distance swimmers led the way by scoring 179 points! This includes the 500, 1000 and 1650 free.
