Meet Committees
HBT Swim Team

The following are the meet committees and chair persons for those committees. All committees will report to the Meet Director. The Meet Director in turn will report back to the Vice President of the HBT Board.

Definitions of committees:

Concessions- This section will mange concessions. They will purchase items that are needed. They will also organize the parent donations. They will be responsible for setting up and breaking down all of the concession area.

Electronic Equipment- This section is responsible for maintaining the electronic equipment in good working order. This includes hardware and software proficiency as well as recommending necessary upgrades.

Heat Sheets- This section will be responsible for setting the deadline for the heat sheet ads. They will also collect and format all of the ads that are to be included in the heat sheet. They will work closely with the Meet Director who will provide them with the meet information. They will responmsible for making copies of the heat sheets and transporting them to the first session of the swim meet.

Officials- This section is responsible for recruiting the officials needed to run a swim meet. Also, they will help set up official's clinics during the year and remind officials of their renewal requirements and dates.

Software Application- This section has trained volunteers that can run admistrative clerk of course, electronic judging, computer entry and the Colorado timing system.

Volunteers- This section is responsible for recruiting the "othe" volunteers needed to run a swim meet. This will include timers, runners, relief timers, clerk of course, place judges, awards, head of hospitality, set up, and break down. Concessions, Hospitality, Officials and Electronic Equipment will recruit their own volunteers to staff their individual areas.
